We are located on Thorp Arch Estate, which is near Wetherby. The premises are easily reached if travelling on the A1 or A64.
A1 from the north - as you approach Wetherby take the exit sign posted for Wetherby Services. At the roundabout take the second exit sign posted Wetherby/York. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit on to York Road B1224. Follow this road for approximately 1 mile and then turn right on Springs Lane, signposted Walton. On entering Walton Village turn left on to Main Street and right on to Smiddy Hill. On reaching the end of this road turn left on to Wighill Lane and immediately right in to the entrance of Thorp Arch Estate (please see below).
A1 from the south – before reaching Wetherby, take the exit signposted Tadcaster/Otley/Boston Spa/Wetherby. At the roundabout take the exit signposted Wetherby/Thorp Arch Estate and then stay in the right-hand lane. At the next roundabout turn right, signposted to Wetherby. At the third roundabout turn right towards Thorp Arch Estate. At the fourth roundabout take the 3rd exit signposted Walton and Thorp Arch Estate. Continue on this road for approximately 2 miles. Turn right in to Thorp Arch Estate (please see below).
A64 from York - take the first sign for Tadcaster and filter over the A64 into the town. At the first set of traffic lights turn right towards Wighill, then proceed approximately 1.5 miles to a left turn signposted Wetherby. After approximately 2 miles you will reach a roundabout sign posted left to Thorp Arch Estate. DO NOT take this exit but carry straight on and after about half a mile take the left turning in to the Estate.
A64 from Leeds - take the sign for Tadcaster and follow the road through the town over the river through the first set of lights to the second set of lights where you turn left. Then proceed approximately 1.5 miles to a left turn signposted Wetherby. After approximately 2 miles you will reach a roundabout sign posted left to Thorp Arch Estate. DO NOT take this exit but carry straight on and after about half a mile take the left turning in to the Estate.
When you reach Thorp Arch Estate - proceed past the main signboard and straight on at the roundabout; you are now on Street 5. Take the first left after the Estate Office and follow this to the bottom. Ferndale is situated on the right hand side (opposite Tom, Dick & Harry’s Restaurant).
