“Skip-Care” – the latest Korean skincare trend that’s dermatologist recommended

‘Skip-care’ is a growing trend amongst Korean millenials according to Refinery29, with an increasing number of influencers and brands beginning to get on-board. It involves ditching complicated multi-step skincare regimes and binning all unnecessary products so that only the key ingredients remain. It sounds like a passing trend but ‘Skip-Care’ is gaining a lot of support from leading dermatologists and skincare experts:

“Layering seven or 10 products over each other morning and evening has always seemed excessive to me and a surefire way to increase your risk of breaking out,” says London-based consultant dermatologist, Dr Justine Kluk, “so drilling a skincare routine down to the essentials makes perfect sense.”

Dr Kluk goes onto say “In the morning, use a cleanser, antioxidant serum and sun protection moisturiser or sunscreen”.

Refinery29 suggest using Heliocare 360° Oil-Free gel for all skin types on top of your existing skincare products. When it comes to daily skin protection Heliocare 360° has it covered. It provides the ultimate defence for your skin against UVA, UVB, visible light, free radicals and DNA damage! Nothing protects skin like Heliocare 360°, which is why it’s a favorite among skin specialists and celebrities alike!
