Why investing in the latest aesthetic trends is a big opportunity for your clinic
The growing trend in non-surgical rejuvenation aesthetic procedures shows no signs of slowing.
Clients want to look and feel as good as they possibly can to feel confident, fabulous and be the best version of themselves. Also, increasingly this means they want natural-looking results that draw compliments about how great they are looking from friends, families and strangers alike.
This was endorsed in a survey of 7,322 people by the ASDS (American Society for Dermatologic Surgery), found that almost 70% of respondents were considering a cosmetic procedure. Their key motivations were to feel more confident, appear more attractive, and to look as young as they feel.
• 74% complained of lines and wrinkles around and under the eyes
• 75% worry about excess fat under the chin and neck
• 71% expressed concern over skin texture and/or discoloration
Clients are demanding non-invasive treatments
According to the British Association of Plastic Surgery’s (BAAPS) Annual Audit 2017, the number of surgical facelifts completed last year dropped by 44%.
Meanwhile, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons reported that in 2017, the demand for non-invasive aesthetics treatments outpaced the demand for surgical treatments by nearly eight to one.
Due to advancements in technology allowing for maximum results without the least amount of invasiveness, minimally invasive and non-invasive aesthetic procedures are driving the growth of this market.
The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery reported that a huge 11,674,754 non-surgical procedures were performed in 2016 alone (ASAPS) demonstrating that investing in the latest rejuvenation equipment offers a great opportunity for your clinic.
